The Master’s Program in Civil Engineering at Çankaya University has been offered since 2016. The language of instruction in the program is English. In the “Thesis” option of the Master’s Program, in addition to a minimum course load of 21 credits, students must successfully complete the Master’s Seminar, Master’s Thesis, and the Research Methods and Ethics courses.
The objectives of the program are as follows:
To equip students with proficiency in professional English, thereby facilitating their access to advanced engineering education programs at the national and international level,
To educate civil engineers with strong analytical skills who are capable of using new computational methods and tools, and who can apply these methods to solve a wide spectrum of engineering problems,
To train “civilization” engineers who contribute to developing and protecting the environment, while creating sustainable opportunities for industry and transportation,
To transform students, through the current curriculum, into civil engineers who can think creatively, work flexibly in interdisciplinary teams, and who are hardworking, well-equipped, competitive, honest, and visionary.
The academic staff of the department hold degrees from prestigious universities in Turkey and abroad. Within the scope of their expertise, they provide education in a wide range of civil engineering sub-disciplines. As of the Spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, the department’s staff includes:
