Dersin Tanımı:
Çevresel faktörler bir ülkeden bir ülkeye farklılık arz ederler. Buna göre, bir ülkede iyi sonuç veren yönetim yaklaşımları başka bir ülkede başarılı olmayabilir. Bu nedenle kültürlerarası etkili bir yönetim göstermek isteyen yöneticiler kendi ülkelerindeki yönetim becerilerinden çok daha fazlasına ihtiyaç duyarlar. Bu dersin amacı küreselleşme olarak anılan süreçte ulus devlet temelinde örgütlerin nasıl etkilendiği ve nasıl tepki verdikleridir. |

Tartışma: Ders, her haftanın konusu ile ilgili verilen okuma parçalarının incelenmesi biçiminde yürütülecektir. Sınıf içi tartışmaların verimliliği açısından, ilgili okuma parçalarının dersten önce okunup gelinmesi gerekmektedir.
Haftalık Okuma Raporu: Her hafta okunulan parça le ilgili 1 ya da 2 sayfalık bir rapor hazırlanacaktır.
Öğrencilerden Akademik yazım geleneğine uyulması önemle beklenmektedir. Ders yükümlülükleri içine giren tüm raporlar alıntılama kurallarına uymalıdır. Bu derste öğrenciler ‘intihal’ kavramının ne anlama geldiğini öğrenmekle yükümlüdür.
