Dersin Tanımı:

Bu derste örgütleri anlamaya yönelik olarak geliştirilen tüm kuramlar incelenmektedir. Bu anlamda ilk olarak örgüt kuramlarının tarihsel gelişimi, sonrasında erken dönem çalışmaları (bürokrasi kuramı, bilimsel yönetim, yönetsel süreç ve insan ilişkileri yaklaşımları) ve yapısal koşul bağımlılık, kaynak bağımlılığı, işlem maliyeti, örgütsel ekoloji, kurumsal kuram, eleştirel ve postmodern kuramları ele alınmaktadır.

Tartışma: Ders, her haftanın konusu ile ilgili verilen okuma parçalarının incelenmesi biçiminde yürütülecektir. Sınıf içi tartışmaların verimliliği açısından, ilgili okuma parçalarının dersten önce okunup gelinmesi gerekmektedir. Haftalık Okuma Raporu: Her hafta okunulan parça le ilgili 1 ya da 2 sayfalık bir rapor hazırlanacaktır.
